MARBLEHEAD -- The Interstate 172  Marblehead exit will be shut down over the next two days. The Illinois Department of Transportation is repaving the ramps at Illinois Route 57 south of Quincy today and Friday. The Interstate 172 northbound ramps will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today with work on the southbound ramps on Friday.

Motorists are urged to use caution and find an alternate travel route during the construction.
